About Us

HM Behavioral Health is a family-owned, clinician-led behavioral health practice built around a simple belief: exceptional care should be both clinically sound and deeply human.

We provide therapy and specialized behavioral health services for individuals and families navigating mental health concerns, trauma, addiction, recovery, and life's more difficult transitions. Our approach is personal, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care—because people are more than a diagnosis, and meaningful change begins when they feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported.

As HM continues to grow, our mission remains the same: to provide high-quality behavioral healthcare while staying connected to the people and communities we serve.

Services

Therapy and support for where you are right now

HOW WE CAN HELP

One-on-one sessions for substance use, gambling, recovery, mental health and life stress. Together we set goals that matter to you and adjust as you go.

Hand Gesturing Close-Up

Whether you're questioning your drinking or use, newly in recovery or years in, we meet you without judgment and help you build a plan that fits your life.

EMDR

Process the experiences that continue to impact your present so you can move forward with greater confidence and emotional freedom.

Closeup of comforting hands

Gambling problems often stay hidden and carry a lot of shame. Individual therapy and our gambling recovery group offer a private, understanding place to start.

Family on a walk

Our family-focused services provide education, guidance, and tools to help loved ones heal, strengthen relationships, and navigate recovery together.

A girl feeling sad

Feeling on edge, numb or stuck is exhausting. We use evidence-based approaches to help you understand what's happening and find your footing again.

You don't have to do this alone

Our eight-week recovery groups bring people together who understand what you're going through. We run groups for women, men and families, plus the Next Chapter Collective for gambling recovery. In-person groups meet in Buzzards Bay, and insurance may be accepted for eligible participants.
